The picture for this week is the seal of Jotham who was a king of Judah and ancestor of Christ. Jotham’s mother was Jerusha while his father was King Uzziah. King Jotham is credited with building the upper gate and portions of the temple and city walls as well as military posts. Bible references are 2 Kings 15:5-38, Isaiah 1:1 and 7:1, and Matthew 1:9. I may be writing more about Jotham and his father later on this week.
The great thing about being in a group like this is not only what you see but what you can learn. My daughter is a Bible teacher I can't wait to pass this on. Thanks for a great post and stopping by site. Take care, Frances
