This is Durham Cathedral located in Great Britain. Construction on this great structure began in 1093. Even with some additions it retains the original Norman architectural style. It is the home of the Benedictine Monastic Community. When it was built it was to house the shrine to Britain's best loved saint....Cuthbert.
